STARTING A NEW STUDENT ORGANIZATION

Are you interested in starting a new student organization that isn't currently active at Ball State?  The first thing you need to do is to complete an Intent To Organize Form and submit it along with a constitution to the Office of Student Life, SC 133.  The Intent To Organize packet will help you as you put together a constitution.

The constitution will be forwarded to the Student Activities Committee, which convenes approximately once a month during the academic year to review materials.  Any constitutions submitted during the summer months will be reviewed at the first fall meeting.

Intent To Organize Form  - Complete and submit this page along with your constitution.

Intent To Organize Packet - This packet contains information on creating a constitution, student organization privileges, and a constitution construction guide.

Sample Constitution  - Here is a sample constitution to use as a guideline.

For students interested in reactivating an organization that was once recognized on campus but has since gone inactive, complete and submit the Intent To Reactivate Form below.  The Intent To Organize packet (above) can help you as you re-write the constitution.  If you would like a copy of the old constitution for the organization, contact Student Life at 285-2621.

Intent To Reactivate Form- Complete and submit this page if you are wanting to reactivate an organization.
