Appointments of new members to SLDB are made during Spring Semester. Interested students should possess self-motivation and should be able to interact well with others.

A student goes throught a selection process, which is based on his or her application and recommendations from various faculty and staff. In the interviews which follow, current SLDB members look for students with well-rounded campus leadership experiences and involvement. Selections are made by the Office of Student Life (SC 118), in consultation with the Board.
