Marine Award

The Marine Award is presented at the end of each semester, recognizing an individual who has made outstanding contributions to Ball State. Prospective candiates might be members of the student body, administration, faculty, or staff.

The award is presented to a person who is always holding others as a first concern, always thinking of ways in which they may be able to better the university, and unselfishly giving service to the people of Ball State University.

Outstanding Advisor Award

Realizing the important role that advisors play in many campus organizations, SLDB annually bestows "outstanding advisor awards." The award recognizes those individuals who have made significant contributions to student organizations, providing continuity, wisdom and guidance. During Spring Semester, applications are mailed to all campus organications, with award presentations being made at the end of the year.

Pat on the Back

"Pat on the Back" is the name of the Student Leadership Development Board's semesterly newsletter. It exists as a medium through which outstanding efforts in student organizations may be recognized. The publication is widely distributed throughout campus. Articles and photographs are solicited at the end of each semester for inclusion in the newsletter.
