A. Jane Morton Award

 

 

The A. Jane Morton Award is given to a person selected from regular full time staff personnel who has been a university employee for at least five years. This award is presented annually at the Recognition and Award Program for Staff Personnel. It is not a retirement award, but recognizes a continual demonstration of outstanding efforts of staff service to all segments of the university community.

The recipient of the award will be presented:

  1. Framed and engraved "Between the Buildings...is the Life" print;
  2. Monetary award of $1000.00;
  3. Complimentary ticket for the Recognition and Retirement Dinner;
  4. Book of nomination and support letters.

A wooden plaque with these names is permanently displayed in the Office of Academic Research and Sponsored Programs.

Nominations are sought each year from any university employee (co-worker, supervisor, faculty, retiree, etc.). It is the responsibility of the nominator to submit all the required materials. Your nomination materials should be sent directly to the A. Jane Morton Committee. Names of nominees will be published immediately after the deadline date.
