Students interested in enrolling in the special education master's degree programs must apply to and be accepted by the Graduate School.
Graduate School admission requirements include:
- a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- an undergraduate cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale or a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the latter half of the baccalaureate
To apply, you will need to submit the following to the Graduate School:
- a completed Graduate School application
- transcripts of all previous graduate and undergraduate course work

Transfer Students
Work taken for graduate credit at other institutions may be transferable to your degree requirements at Ball State with the approval of the department prior to enrollment.
