Job opportunities for graduates of our special education programs are plentiful.
Most graduates of the bachelor's programs become teachers in special education programs in public schools. Ball State graduates are currently teaching in school districts in Indiana and across the country.
Other graduates work

- in community agency programs like sheltered workshops
- in rehabilitation program
- in hospitals with large pediatric units
- in special needs preschools
Graduates of the master's degree programs often work as consultants, coordinators, or supervisors.
