Introduction

This BSW Student Handbook describes the policies, procedures, and curriculum of the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program of Ball State University.  It serves as a reference to assist students in understanding the course of professional study and development upon which they have embarked.  Such an understanding is necessary to enable students to plan their academic career.  Students will find themselves referring back to this handbook at various points as they progress through the BSW program.  Also included is information about the university, its services, and policies.
