The New Social Worker focuses upon the needs of social work students and recent graduates through job information, the publication of it journal: Social Work Today and a discussion forum.   

The Association for the Advancement of Social Work with Groups, Inc. AASWG is an international not-for-profit organization of group workers, group work educators, and friends of group work who support its program of advocacy and action for professional practice, education, research, training and writing about social work with groups.

AOSW is a non-profit, international organization with over 1000 members from around the world who are committed to advancing excellence in psychosocial care of persons with cancer, their families and their caregivers. Members practice in hospitals, outpatient clinics, home care and hospice agencies, community wellness programs, patient advocacy organizations and other settings connecting   persons diagnosed with cancer, and their families, with essential community, state, national, and international resources.

  The Federation is a national individual membership organization dedicated to providing essential services, products, professional support, and national identity for Clinical Social Workers.  Its mission is to promote excellence in clinical social work practice through the advancement of the profession for the benefit of clients and the clinicians who serve them.  The federation advocates at the national and state level on matters related to the profession, mental health, education, and information distributed to its members.

 The Association   encourages the development of comprehensive Social Work services to veteran beneficiaries through education and training, leadership, promotion, and the sharing of information to enhance the effectiveness of social work. The Association advocates for the recruitment, retention, and increased recognition of VA social workers.

 ISP assists social work faculty and students in learning how to influence effectively the formation, implementation, and evaluation of state-level policy and legislation. The goal of ISP is to increase Social Work efficacy in influencing state-level policy and legislation.

IFSW is a global organization striving for social justice, human rights and social development through the development of social work best practices and international cooperation between social workers and their professional organizations. 

LSWO is a progressive social work organization focusing on the recruitment and retention of Latinos in social work academic programs . .

The National Association of Black Social Workers, Inc., comprised of people of African ancestry, is committed to enhancing the quality of life and empowering people of African ancestry through advocacy, human services delivery, and research.

NAPRHSW is a non-profit organization dedicated to the enhancement and general welfare of Puerto Rican and other Hispanic families.

 The Council of Nephrology Social Workers (CNSW) functions as a professional membership council within the framework of the National Kidney Foundation (NKF).    CNSW's purpose is twofold: 1) to assist patients and their families in dealing with the psychosocial stresses and lifestyle readjustments and facilitate a treatment program that will maximize rehabilitation potential; 2) to support the federal regulations governing ESRD reimbursement in regard to standards for social work practice and in the definition of a qualified social worker.

The National Network for Social Work Managers is dedicated to equipping people-centered leaders.  Individual members are middle and upper level managers.

  The Rural Social Work Caucus was formed to coordinate the activities of social workers      who serve non-metropolitan people.

SWAA is a national organization of progressive workers in human services founded on key principles that reflect a concern for social justice, peace and coalition building with progressive social movements. The Society for Social Work and Research was founded in 1994 as a free-standing organization dedicated to the advancement of social work research that promotes culturally relevant evidence-based practice. SSWR's members represent more than 200 universities and institutions across the globe.

 SSWLHC is dedicated to promoting the universal availability, accessibility, coordination, and effectiveness of health care that addresses the psychosocial components of health and illness.
