Seasoned Professionals as Instructors

The faculty at Ball State are themselves seasoned social workers who bring to life the classroom learning with their practice experiences. All your instructors have earned advanced degrees in social work and have worked as administrators, geriatric social workers, school social workers, child welfare workers, mental health clinicians, community organizers, policy planners and medical social workers. Personal Mentoring

Once you are a sophomore at Ball State you will be assigned a social work faculty member as your advisor. She/he will guide you through the academic planning process, career planning, and the internship selection process. The individual advising ensures your timely completion of your BSW degree.
