What Would I study?

To earn a social work degree (BSW degree) you would take 15 required courses totaling 69 semester hours. Five of these courses are taken outside the social work department and two are electives. Your last semester you complete a 40 hour a week field practicum (internship) in a social service agency and a field seminar course that helps you to integrate real life learning with classroom learning. Here's an overview of the course work:
