The SSRC is a research center that assists social service agencies in planning, research, and evaluation. It serves as an outreach arm of the Department of Social Work helping human service agencies address social service needs. The SSRC staff also assist social work faculty develop and carry out research projects.
Where is the SSRC?
The center is located in room 201 on the second floor of the Fine Arts building at the opposite end of the building in which the social work offices are located.
As a social work major will I have any contact with the Center?
Yes, The SSRC staff made presentations in classes using their current research projects in the community as examples of how social work research enhances social work practice.
