Pre & Post Gaming Evaluations
Students will complete an initial pretest to assess their current level of subject matter
knowledge and misconceptions held with respect to the learning objectives of the game. This finding will direct the student to the game activities that fits most with his or her needs.

A post gaming evaluation completed by the student will measure improvement in student understanding of the misconception addressed by the game,  did the game achieve the teacher-defined learning objectives and will direct the student to further activities relevant to the subject matter.

Other Measurement Tools
Student Demographics
Gender, grade level, teacher assessment of general ability level in the subject,  educational classifications, etc.

Brief Surveys
Completed by the teacher and students concerning attitudes towards the subject matter, learning the material via the game, and comments or observations related to the use of games for teaching or learning. The specifics of the questions will be shaped by the nature of the module and subject matter involved.

Focus Groups
With the students and teachers will be conducted by the researchers to help identify and modify the instruments or procedures that are not performing as expected.
