MUNCIE, Ind. - A former Ball State University administrator and her husband have endowed a scholarship for music majors at Ball State University.
The Donita (Stobaugh) and Roy L. Gross Scholarship will provide financial assistance to a minority student majoring in music.
Donita (Stobaugh) Gross received her bachelor's degree in 1950 and a master's in 1962 from Ball State. She was an administrator in the School of Music before joining the Kimberly Clark Corp. Before retiring in 1986, Mrs. Gross worked as a corporate recruiter, personnel officer and director of consumer services. She also is a past president of the Ball State Alumni Council.
The couple now resides in Neenah, Wis.
