The Farmland Conservation Club (from Randolph County, Indiana) sponsors a scholarship to a NREM student who has shown exceptional potential and dedication to the natural resources of the earth. The successful recipient must: be a NREM senior or graduate student, be a legal resident of Indiana, demonstrate financial need, and be involved in activities associated with the arena of natural resources or environmental management. Interested students complete an application that includes a response to topical questions and submission of a short essay of personal goals. The application is evaluated by a committee from Farmland Conservation Club.

CITES Scholarship
$500 to $1000

Periodically, Ball State University awards a scholarship from the Central Indiana Technical and Environmental Societies (CITES). Eligible students are citizens of the United States, residents of Indiana, and are enrolled in undergraduate programs in environmental science. Both scholastic ability and need are considered in selecting a recipient. Candidates must be taking at least 6 semester hours of credit per semester.

Cooper Award
$300

The award is distributed annually to a NREM major. "Eligible students shall be taking classes in those departments at the time of the award, shall use neither tobacco nor alcohol in any form, nor any illegal drug, and shall be of good moral character. The selection for the award is to be made on quality of person rather than financial need or scholastic ability."

Annie's Environmental Studies Scholarships
$
1000

In striving to be an ethically, socially and environmentally
conscious business, Annie's will award at least $25,000 to environmental
stewards this year.
Because of our passion for a cleaner, healthier planet, we have
established a scholarship program that assists undergraduate or
graduate students who share our advocacy for the Earth and are focusing on
classes in the environmental studies field. Through our Environmental Studies scholarship program, we will award 25 lucky (and deserving) students with $1000 each. This money can be used for tuition, books, and other educational expenses
