Graduate Programs in Linguistics and TESOL

The English Department at Ball State University offers MA degrees in Linguistics and in Teaching English as a Second Language and the Ph.D. in English with a concentration in Applied Linguistics. In addition, students may add a second major in TESOL or Linguistics to another MA, or a minor in one of these fields to another MA. Students must present knowledge of a language other than English equivalent to two years of study at the college level.
