Teaching Philosophy

Teaching, like learning, is a continuum that integrates risk, experimentation, trial and error, and transition. It should be fashioned not through strict authority or obedience, but through an atmosphere of mutual cooperation and a synthesis of ideas between instructor and student.

Publications

Peter Bethanis’s poems and essays have appeared in over fifty literary journals including Poetry, Tar River Poetry, Lullwater Review, Haight Ashbury Literary Journal, River Review, among others. He is the co-author of a book, Dada and Surrealism for Beginners.
