Information Technology Security & Policy and Enterprise Systems Administration & Services teams provides tools, services and support to students, faculty and staff to help them protect their data and PC as well as providing a twenty-four hour support staff.  This includes firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion prevention, e-mail security protection, spam filtering, client VPN and web hosting space for students, faculty and staff. 

BSU Symantec Antivirus (formerly called Norton Antivirus) is free of charge for use on computers owned by the university.  Students can also download a free copy onto the computer that they use to complete course work.

Client VPN, Virtual Private Network, is the technology that allows remote users to gain access to Private Enterprise Network resources over the Internet. 

Web Request provides the necessary information on how to request a web account.
