May 20, 2004  This hoax targets unsuspecting individuals into providing personal information in hopes of possibly purchasing a home or maybe just refinancing their current home at a much better rate.  The hoax follows the pattern of many other hoaxes by being redistributed with a different link to the fake page.

If you receive this hoax e-mail, please remember that it is very common for these e-mail hoaxes to be redistributed at a later date with only slightly different content or the same but with the fake page(s) hosted by a different provider. Also, once you have received one of these hoaxes, it is also common place to receive at least another one and usually a day or two after the first, although not necessarily from the same apparent sender.
