SEAMUS 2005 invites paper and panel presentation submissions dealing with the conference theme of Crossroads, including ideas of intersection, community, interchange, and creative collaboration. Submissions are also welcome on other topics related to computer music and intermedia composition, performance, human-computer interaction, software development, aesthetics, and history.

Any current SEAMUS member, or any citizen or legal resident of the United States may submit to the conference. Authors may submit a maximum of two papers/panel presentations.

SEAMUS uses an anonymous adjudication process for all music, video, and paper submissions. To maintain the integrity of the anonymous peer review process, papers or panel presentation proposals must not have any personal identifying information.

Composers and authors whose works are selected for inclusion on the conference are required to attend the conference.

Deadline for submission of materials: November 1, 2004

Email your paper submission to seamus2005@bsu.edu. In the subject field of your email, type PAPER SUBMISSION.

In your email message, include the following contact information:

Additional Authors or panel presenters
List equipment needed for presentation (indicate if you plan on providing any of the equipment.

Attach your paper (full text) or panel presentation (proposal) to your email message as a PDF (preferred) or Rich Text File. Do not include identifying information in your paper or panel proposal.

You will receive email confirmation of the receipt of your paper or panel proposal.
