Our Role in Campus Diversity

An important part of Student Affairs' role in diversity is to be pro-active by offering programs, services, and organizations that advance campus diversity. 

Student Affairs also strives to help maintain a community in which all members act with integrity and civility toward one another, and demonstrate respect for those whose diverse cultures, heritages, and perspectives enrich our institution and the larger community.  Thus, the Division of Student Affairs also oversees processes that are responsive when incidents of bias occur.  We do this by offering assistance and support to victims and by confronting the inappropriate behavior of those who have offended others.
