OARSP is pleased to announce the 12^th annual Sandra L. Smith Student Symposium to be held Tuesday, March 27, 2007 in Student Center Cardinal Hall from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m.

The Student Symposium is an excellent opportunity for students to present their research, creative and scholarly endeavors to the public. This year, work presented for the competition does not have to be restricted to the classroom.  Any student who has engaged in organized work either inside or outside class, while under the direction of a Ball State faculty member, is eligible to participate.

In another change starting this year, participants will be able to set up their displays a day ahead of time instead of two hours before the competition begins.  Presentations may take the form of a poster, creative or multimedia display, or other exhibit.  Winners will be announced later in the day and rewarded with cash prizes.

Students wishing to participate must submit a registration form.  The deadline for registration is Friday, Feb. 23, 2007.  Refer to the guidelines for  additional information.
