The Indiana Academy of Science (IAS) supports the research initiatives of its members or the students they sponsor engaged in scientific work in Indiana. Upcoming deadlines include:

March 1
Research Grants Program

Provides grants of up to $3000 to cover research-related costs, including salaries of research assistants, travel costs, and supplies. Investigators with limited resources are especially encouraged to apply.

January 22
Winona Welch Award:

One award of $400 will be made to support botanical biodiversity research of plants and their allies (algae and fungi). Recipient must make a presentation at the annual fall meeting of the Academy.
