Your first ID card is issued after you have registered for classes. If you registered for on-campus classes you will need to come to the Registrar's Office in Lucina Hall B-43 and present a picture ID such as a driver's license or credit card with your photo.
Your registration in classes will be verified, your picture will be taken at that time and an ID card will be created.
If you are registered in extended or distance education classes see www.bsu.edu/distance .
Your ID card, determined by your status at the university, allows you access or amenities in several areas: the library, fitness and recreation, residence halls, theatrical venues and many more. Do not mutilate, punch holes, or destroy your ID card or you will have problems using it in card readers across campus and will be directed to the Registrar's Office to obtain a replacement.

If you lose your ID card....
You should come to Lucina Hall to report it and obtain a new ID card.
All Ball State ID cards cost $10 to replace. You will pay at the Cashiers window of the Bursars Office in the basement of Lucina. The receipt of payment must be presented to the Registrar Office ( Picture ID window); at which time you may request the original picture or a new picture be taken for the id card.
