Activities: Using the same kind of 3-D software used in Shrek, Alex is combining his creative skills with his computer programming knowledge to create a 3-D animation of The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Last fall, Alex was part of a creative team that won a national award for its video game for kids. When he isn't busy creating, he volunteers for his department. This year, he is the computer science student representative on the university-wide grade appeal committee. During school breaks, he interns at an Indianapolis firm, First DataBank, Inc.
