Students and laboratory staff who wish to use materials under the supervision of an Authorized User must seek approval from the Radiation Safety Officer. To be approved as a Supervised User, the applicant must:

• Work under the supervision of an Authorized User
• Attend a Radiation Safety Training session provided by the Radiation Safety Officer
• Read the Radiation Safety User's Guide* and sign the Radioactive Material User's Agreement*
• Pass a written test
• Be appropriately trained for the safe use of materials in the Authorized User's lab
