Trademark Licensing at BSU
Ball State University trademarks are any marks, letters, nicknames, or words associated with Ball State University. These trademarks are used to identify the University, it's athletic programs, documents, publications, and products.
Ball State University (BSU) participates in a licensing program to ensure that the marks of the University are used appropriately, in good taste, and with quality reproduction.
Ball State University has chosen Licensing Resource Group (LRG) to manage its licensing program. To obtain information or a license, view the Licensing Resource Group website or call 616-395-0676.
Any producer of products bearing any Ball State University marks must have a license before offering those goods for sale.
All uses of the BSU logo and trademarks require approval of the artwork and/or samples.

Licensed vendors will have access to submit artwork to the BSU Purchasing
office.
Student organizations that have items produced bearing the BSU marks are required to buy them from licensed vendors and have the artwork approved by the BSU Purchasing office. Student organizations selling to the general public will also be required to pay royalties.
