Scope of Work:

Scope of Work to include, but not limited to: a comprehensive renovation and a minor addition to a 1930s era residence on the Ball State University campus. The historic structure will be upgraded to serve as offices for the Honors College which will house Administrative and Educational spaces. Interior upgrades include reconfiguration of numerous areas, all new finishes, repair and repainting of historic wood trim, doors and paneling, plaster repair, new HVAC, a new sprinkler system, new plumbing throughout and new electrical service and distribution. ADA improvements include new restrooms, a 3-stop lift and widening of numerous corridors and doorways. Exterior improvements include a small addition, roofing replacement/repairs, reworking existing wood windows, repair of existing wood siding, removal of existing aluminum siding, installation of new cement board shingles and repainting of the entire exterior. Site utilities and landscaping will occur under separate contract. Alternates include storm window, basement waterproofing, insulation, operable partition, geothermal system, fire alarm and security alarm.

Estimated Cost: $935,000.00
