Purchasing Staff Attend NAEP Annual Meeting

The National Association of Educational Procurement (NAEP) held its annual conference in Austin, TX from April 6 to April 9, 2008. This is an international event of the NAEP and is attended by over 500 purchasing professionals representing Colleges and Universities from 42 States, Canada and Great Britain. Indiana alone had 20 attendees representing 9 institutions.

In fact, Indiana was the fifth highest represented state behind California, Texas, New York and Pennsylvania. The conference featured Keynote speakers, educational track sessions, a tradeshow featuring 128 vendors and networking events all designed to provide career development opportunities targeted to educational procurement professionals.

The event was attended by Matt Stephenson, Rhodene Upchurch and Gayla Brasher from the BSU Purchasing Office. Shown below with Purchasing Director Matt Stephenson are other directors in attendance at the NAEP conference.
