Purchasing Agent Tim Hagen and Purchasing Coordinator Mark Keever attended the 2007 Indiana Business Opportunity Fair (IBOF) on April 25, 2007 held at the Indiana Convention Center and RCA Dome.

Focusing on the theme, "Diversity…Is It Part of Your Business Plan?" the event provided an opportunity to develop strategies and insights into making diversity a true and integral part of business plans.  The event was held under the direction of The Indiana Business Diversity Council - http://www.inbdc.org/.

Commenting on the event, Purchasing Coordinator Mark Keever stated, "The Indiana Business Diversity Council is the crossroads between majority and minority firms and being in the middle allows the Council to observe many things that aren't always obvious to the two sides. The IBDC adds value to both sides by helping to bring them together and this event certainly validated that concept. The event was an excellent opportunity to build new relationships and gain new insights and perspectives on current diversity initiatives by the Indiana Diversity Council.  Tim Hagen and I look forward to attending next year's program."
