Central Stores maintains an inventory of commonly used items, including MRO materials, housekeeping, cleaning, paper and miscellaneous supplies.  These materials and supplies are available, at cost, to support the day-to-day needs of the university's offices and facilities. A just-in-time method is used to keep inventory of most commodities at minimum with sales using the first-in-first-out method.

Central Stores commodities may be ordered online by campus departments using Formblaster, which requires a  BSU login and password. Information available to departments in Formblaster includes order history and pricing.

Central Stores will pick up and process packages from departments, that are to be shipped off campus.  Each package must have a completed Shipping Authorization Form.
