Reporting a Crime

To report a crime in progress or an emergency, call 911 or University Police at (765) 285-1111.

To report an on-campus crime that has already happened , such as a theft, call University Police at (765) 285-1111.

To report an off-campus crime that has already occurred , call the Muncie Police Department at (765) 747-4838.

If you witness a crime or have information about a crime and would like to report it anonymously, you can do through the Silent Witness Program. The information you provide will be kept confidential. This site should not be used to report an emergency or a crime in progress.
