CLINICAL MASTER'S PROGRAM |
|
|
Our Clinical Program is a two-year degree designed to provide training that is consistent with a scientist-practitioner model of Clinical Psychology. We have a small program (up to 12 new students each year) and we provide you with individual attention. As a student in our program, you enter with a class and take most of your classes with your fellow students. Most of our students are funded by an assistantship. Our class sizes are small and our faculty are highly committed to graduate education. Your practicum training begins your second year of the program. Our practicum sites range from the University Counseling Center to Community Mental Health Services to Riley Hospital for Children. During your second semester at Ball State, you will work with our practicum supervisor, Dr. Lucinda Woodward, to choose your practicum site. Most of the graduates of this program choose to go on to doctoral programs in clinical or counseling psychology, and the rest choose to obtain jobs in mental health settings.
