When sending us your job beware of missing files. . .
- Include all linked high-resolution image files. This is a common mistake, especially when a large number of images are included in a document. When you import an image into your page-layout program, only a (Quark/InDesign) screen preview is displayed and saved in the documents. Therefore, the original hi-res image must be included at file-collection time or that part could process as a low-res bit map.
- Quark has "Collect for Output", while InDesign has "Package" in the file menu. These are worth using because they seek out all related elements and assemble them into a master file folder.
