Ball State's historic preservation faculty are part of a team of more than 50 full-time professors, instructors, and visiting scholars in the College of Architecture and Planning who are committed to teaching, research, practice, and public service.
These teacher-scholars have professional experience in the subject areas they teach, and they apply their knowledge and skills through projects in communities throughout the state and region.
The preservation faculty represent an array of expertise, including historic preservation law and planning, preservation technology, preservation economics, research methods, architectural history, and urban design. Staff members from the Indiana Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology, Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana, and several community development corporations often serve as adjunct faculty members.
