Originally from Canada, Mrs. Young compares Canadian education to the education her children received in the United States. She emphasizes that back then, it was more about getting through school, but, for her, music performance was more important. Because of this belief, Mrs. Young raised her two children in a musical environment. However, the other aspects of her children’s education are valuable as well. In order to give them the best education, Mrs. Young says that it is important to ask questions daily, as well as encourage children to experiment with different subjects or activities.
