"They were charged with finding a solution to the airport's need for a robust and stable computer network; one that would prepare them for both the transition to the new airport terminal, and more importantly for stable operations in the event of disaster (man-made or natural.)

The resulting proposal was as good as any professional consulting firm would have provided, and BAA-Indianapolis is planning to implement the solution. One of the students even got a job offer from [the company] as a result of his efforts on the project."

"This project was a very unique, interdisciplinary approach to solving the airport's current and projected information network. It demonstrates the type of hands-on, real-world experience that Ball State students can receive."
