He received his Ph.D. from Notre Dame University. Professor Reagan teaches primarily in the areas of American politics and public policy, and his research interests center on the relations/behavior of national political institutions and, most recently, on the Congress and the media. Professor Reagan was a finalist for the University Teaching Professorship in 1994, and has served for several years as a state officer of the Indiana Conference of the American Association of University Professors. The Governor has appointed Professor Reagan to three state bodies: in 1998, to the Commision for Higher Education, in 2000 to the Community College Policy Committee, and in 2001 to the Governor's Education Roundtable.
