Compliments
We encourage you to tell us when you observe one of our Ball State University Police Department employees performing their duties admirably or when one of our staff touches your life in a positive way. While compliments can be verbal (in person or by telephone at 765-285-1832), they are most appreciated when sent in writing (letter or email) to the employee's supervisor or the Chief of Police.
If possible, please include the employee's name, the date and location of the experience, and a few details. Compliments will be shared with the employee and documented in his/her personnel file.
Compliments can be mailed to:
Chief Gene Burton
Ball State University Police Department

or emailed to us using the online action form below.
