Kay Bales, Ball State's vice president for student affairs and dean of students, commended the quick thinking of officers Mike Baker Jr. and Mike Workman during ceremonies March 8 at Pittenger Student Center.

Baker and Workman were honored for meritorious service for aiding a Ball State student found unconscious in a university parking lot after suffering a diabetic seizure on a bitterly cold night in late November.
