The Department of Physiology and Health Science offers MA, MS, and EdD Degrees in Physiology.

Experienced faculty provide in-depth coverage of human physiological principles in endocrinology, renal physiology, cardiovascular dynamics, neuroscience, aging and pathophysiology in small, interactive classes using state-of-the-art research techniques. Students also have the opportunity to learn up-close through our physician shadowing program.

The doctor of education degree (EdD) in science or science education prepares students to teach at colleges and universities.

Admission Requirements
Some degrees may have additional requirements, please check individual programs.

  • Acceptance to Ball State Graduate School
  • Hold an earned bachelor's degree from a college or university that is accredited by its regional accrediting association
  • Satisfy one of the following:
    • Undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale
    • Cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the latter half of the baccalaureate
