Andy Platt's MS thesis has been chosen for this year's Outstanding MS Thesis.  Our congratulations to Andy and his advisor, Yong Joe.  This award brings with it a $400 award to Andy and plaques to both Andy and Joe.  The recognition ceremony will take place in the spring.  (Andy is now in Oregon.)

Andy's thesis will now be submitted as Ball State's entry in the Outstanding MS thesis competition among the schools in the Midwest Graduate School Association of which (of course) Ball State is a member.  Drew Alton (Jerry Thomas, advisor) was a winner of this award several years ago.
