Teacher Education (Facilities)

The Health and Physical Activity Building is a modern facility which contains classrooms, dance studios, gymnasia, an indoor fieldhouse and various laboratories designed to prepare a physical educator to teach in the public schools. The Teacher Education Resource Laboratory is designed for physical education teachers and contains computers, the latest in fitness and wellness testing equipment, as well as individual booths for viewing videotapes and critiquing teaching styles. It is one of the few facilities of its type in the nation. Adjacent to the HP building is the Lewellen Aquatic Center in which aquatic courses are offered.
