The Physical Education Teacher Education program recently received national recognition from the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.  Only 3 of the 36 higher education institutions in the state of Indiana earned this honor.  One of the many requirements for national recognition is to provide multiple opportunities for students to work with P-12 students.  Ball State is a leader in this area as our teacher candidates have 11 opportunities to work with P-12 students during their 4 year program.  This national recognition confirms that Ball State teacher candidates are prepared to be the leaders of tomorrow.
