WHAT CAN I DO WITH A PHILOSOPHY DEGREE?
Philosophy is an appropriate major or minor for students preparing for jobs that require a liberal arts education and skills in critical thinking, concept analysis, interpersonal communication, and decision making. Philosophy is excellent preparation for careers in law, public service, government agencies, writing, and literary criticism. Skills in logical thinking and "relating parts to the whole" are useful in management. In fact, the problem solving that students learn in Philosophy is very useful in all professions.
