An assistant professor at Ball State University, Teachers College, in curriculum and instruction, Dr. Cathy J. Siebert has over eighteen years involvement with PDS. During her doctoral work at Michigan State University, she served as research assistant and liaison for the Holt High School partnership. Currently the PDS liaison for the BSU/Anderson and Highland High School initiatives, she has also chaired several institutional site review panels. With Dr. Siebert's research situated within the PDS context, she has produced several PDS-related peer-reviewed publications and given over thirty presentations at national conferences.
"Over the past eight years the Anderson initiatives have developed into one of the oldest and most productive secondary partnerships in the BSU network," said Dr. Siebert. "A great deal of the credit for the achievements of these PDS initiatives goes to my school partners."
The success of these initiatives can also be attributed to her vision for and deep commitment to university/school partnerships. She has the ability to see problems and issues from multiple perspectives, to listen carefully to all stakeholders involved, and to move initiatives in productive directions.
