As a service to the campus community, Parking Services offers these parking tips:

Tips:

Week 4

Each parking lot has signs at each entrance stating the type of permit required to park and the hours it is enforced. Please read these signs carefully.

Avoid a moving violation citation by obeying the "one-way" or "one-way do not enter" signs posted on campus.

Any employee or student who uses a handicapped placard must also display a BSU handicapped sticker.  Parking Services issues these stickers at no cost when proof of placard ownership is provided.

Tips:

Week 3

Your vehicle needs to be parked in a designated parking space at all times.

Parking improperly, even with your "hazard flashers" on, tells us that you are improperly parked. Please park legally, even when parking for short periods of time.

If your vehicle becomes disabled, please notify the University Police at 285-1111 immediately.

Tips:

Week 2

If you have any questions about parking, please call Parking Services at 285-1208 or ask a Parking Enforcement Officer. We want you to get the correct information.

Both a hangtag and a window sticker (with all of the backing removed) need to be visibly displayed in your vehicle in order to park on campus.

45-minute parking meters are for visitors and short-term parking only.  Please do not park at them and go to class.

  Tips:

Week 1

If a meter or pay station is malfunctioning, please report the problem to Parking Services at 285-1208. Please do not leave a note on the meter or your vehicle.

If you are parking your vehicle in a driveway or in a fire lane in order to move items in or out of your residence hall, your vehicle should not be left unattended.

Remember... Some meters are are enforced 24 hours a day/7 days a week.  Check the meter head for enforcement hours.
