After 18 years in "the little house," Parking Services is moving to a new location in the lower level at the east end of the Student Center. The move will take place the week of Feb. 27 and will be completed by March 6.

Nancy Wray, office manager for Parking Services, noted that there will still be some transition throughout the week.

"For instance, once we transfer our phone lines, we won't be able to take credit card payments at the old location," Wray said. "But we will staff both buildings and will work to make it easy on our customers as we make the changeover."

Parking is available for those with Parking Services business in the yellow G9 lot off McKinley Avenue, east of the Student Center and north of the parking garage. Visitors to the new office should use the McKinley Avenue entrance. Additional parking is available at meters nearby and in the parking garage.

Wray said the new space features a reception and waiting area. Employees will be able to provide better service to customers due to increased work space in the new facility.

To celebrate the move, Parking Services will host an open house for the campus community 2-4 p.m. March 15. Refreshments will be served.
