Visitor Parking
Visitors are encouraged to park in the metered areas located throughout campus or in the metered areas in all parking garages.

Parking Tips for Visitors

*

Metered parking is available in all three (3) parking garages. Prepay by space at the pay stations located in the garages.  (See posted signage for locations.)

*

45-minute parking meters are available in various locations.  Be sure to check the meter head for the enforcement hours.  Some of the meters around the residence halls are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

*

Visitor passes are available at no charge from Parking Services to anyone who is not a current student or employee for parking on campus Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm.

*

Parking is available after 5pm in yellow and green lots and after 7pm in red lots without a permit.

*

Visitors are responsible for all parking citations that they receive, with the exception of a "No Valid Permit" citation.  These citations may be cleared if the visitor responds to the citation within 5 business days of receiving it. (See instructions on the citation)

As stated above, visitor permits are available from Parking Services to anyone who is not a current student or employee and must be displayed from their rearview mirror. The visitor's name, vehicle license number, and length of visit must be provided at the time the request is made. Visitor permits will be issued for a specific lot or zoned area and are not valid in metered areas without paying the meter.

Overnight parking is prohibited in all parking garages. Violators will be ticketed and towed at the owner's/operator's expense.

Visitors are required to comply with all university parking regulations as well as with city ordinances and state laws. Visitors who are cited for "No Valid Permit" will have their citation cleared if they respond within five business days to Parking Services either in person or by mail.  They must include a note containing the citation number, their name, address, and a brief explanation of the visit. Citations for all other parking violations are valid and are payable to:
