Building off the success of the Digital Middletown Project, Ball State University created the Office of Wireless Research and Mapping (OWRM).

OWRM offers expertise in:

Academic Advancement and Research

OWRM benefits from the vast expertise of faculty and students within Ball State's  Teachers College to provide academic and research opportunities for faculty and students related to testing and development of networking infrastructures.

Network Testing and Research

OWRM involves experienced and nationally known faculty and graduate students from the Center for Information Communication Science to conduct research and testing in cutting edge wireless technologies for corporate partners.

RF and GIS Mapping

OWRM utilizes the vast knowledge of  afterimage GIS experts and unique Cellular Experts System RF mapping software to provide wireless spatial analysis using advanced Geographic Information System (GIS) software.

The Office of Wireless Research and Mapping provides a unique collaborative opportunity for wireless hardware manufacturers, software developers and wireless systems  integrators to create specific user-focused testing on wireless technologies.
