LIAISON WITH DELAWARE COUNTY PROSECUTOR'S OFFICEThe Office of Victim Services will notify a client of plea discussions, plea contents and recommendations from the Delaware County Prosecutor's Office. The Office of Victim Services will coordinate meetings with the client and the Delaware County Prosecutor's Office, as well as provide general case information. Information will also be provided regarding victim compensation, restitution, and Victim Impact Statements.
| GUIDANCE THROUGH DELAWARE COUNTY COURT SYSTEMThe Office of Victim Services provides guidance through the Delaware County Court System by informing the client of their rights according to the law. The office will advise the client of their right to be present at public court proceedings in a criminal case and will provide the client with information regarding the status of their case. This includes notifying the client of cancelled or rescheduled court dates. A staff member will provide information to the client regarding restitution and victim impact statements. The victim advocate will provide the client with information about where to attend court.
